If you’ve completed the beginner course in British Sign Language, you can progress to British Sign Language – Intermediate. The course will explore a series of topics through a training video teaching you how to use sign language appropriately, and in the right context. You will learn to express views and opinions on everyday conversations ranging from people to animals, travel and even feelings. The Level 2 course in British Sign Language will be useful to professionals who aspire to work with people in the D/deaf community.

The course will introduce the basic fundamentals of British sign language, and through this video training you will learn the grammar and vocabulary extensively. Additionally, you will learn sign language to express conversations on time, shopping, spending, travel, leisure activities and health.

If you aspire to or already work in this field, the intermediate course in British Sign Language ticks all of the right boxes. At the completion of the course, students will be required to complete an assignment, which will need to be uploaded to the online learning portal. Once it has been submitted, the tutor will assess and mark it.

You need to pay £24 for assessment and certification fee when you submit the assignment.

Once you have successfully passed this assessment you are entitled to a printed certificate.

Successful learners will be awarded a Certificate of completion in British Sign Language – Level 2.
