End of life care is generally misunderstood as some sort of healthcare only available for old people. However, this service is available for every individual at the last stage of their lives, be it from old age or from a terminal illness that is too advanced, progressive or incurable and gives equal attention to the spiritual, emotional and mental wellbeing of their patients. It is also called as supportive care and turns up an attractive annual income as an industry. This Diploma in End of Life Care – Level 3 will discuss more important topics of End of life care to help you get into or make significant progress within the industry.
Mere qualifications and skills will not get you to a successful career in end of life care, which is why this course will also focus on the characteristics you will have to develop for such a career. The course will explore the end of life care industry as a whole, all the while glimpsing into the role, duties, and responsibilities of the end of life care professionals.
You will come across modules that will teach you how to communicate during end of life care and how to care during the final hours of a patient’s life and during the bereavement phase. The course has also done a great job in delving into the aspects of assessment and care planning in end of life care that is usually decided by the patients themselves.

The course will be directly delivered to you, and you have 12 months access to the online learning platform from the date you joined the course. The course is self-paced and you can complete it in stages, revisiting the lectures at any time.

- Learners should be age 19 or over, and must have a basic understanding of Maths, English, and ICT.
- A qualification at level 2 or above in any discipline.
This online course is assignment-based with learners being assessed upon the submission of a series of assignments. Once you successfully submit the assignments, students will gain a professional qualification. The assignments must be submitted to the instructor through the online learning portal. The assignments will be reviewed and evaluated, with feedback provided to the student on how well they have fared.
Please Note: Additionally, a total of £69 is charged for the assessment and certificate, and you need to pay that when submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially upon registering). This payment can be made in 02 installments.
Those who successfully complete the course will be issued the Diploma in End of Life Care at QLS Level 3 by the Quality Licence Scheme.
