Windows 8 is the biggest change to Microsoft’s operating system in almost twenty years, and in Total Training for Windows 8, Bob Flisser will get you up to speed with the application. After finishing this Windows 8 course, you will know how to make Windows adapt to your needs, rather than the other way around. You will learn how to pin important programmes and websites to the Start screen and remove those you don’t need. You’ll learn tips and shortcuts to manage files and folders, so they will always be at your fingertips and how to search for them if you don’t know where they are. You will also learn how Windows can keep you safe from viruses and other malware. The course will teach you how to benefit from using new and enhanced features of Microsoft Windows 8. This course will provide a step by step approach on how to manage folders and files, send and receive emails and organise using the calendar. The course will cover key topics such as setting up the control panel, working with built-in apps and learning basic troubleshooting. This course consists of the following:

From the day you purchase the course, you will have 12 months access to the online study platform. As the course is self-paced you can decide how fast or slow the training goes, and are able to complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time.

At the end of the course, you will have one assignment to be submitted (you need a mark of 65% to pass) and you can submit the assignment at any time. You will only need to pay £19 for assessment and certification when you submit the assignment. You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days if you have successfully passed the course.

Successful candidates will be awarded a certificate in Windows 8 – hosted by Bob Flisser.

Learners must be age 16 or over and should have a basic understanding of the English Language, numeracy, literacy, and ICT.
