Animal health covers all areas required to ensure animal protection including prevention and treatment of illnesses, veterinary medicine, safety, proper handling and care, and more. Animal wellbeing ties closely to the wider definition of animal welfare. Whether you want to know how to care for animals, or if you have a pet and want to obtain a greater understanding of the safety and well-being of your pet, the Certificate in Animal Health Care at QLS Level 3 is the ideal course for you.

The course focuses on key topics like taking care of your pet, how to recognise and respond to animal behaviour, basic animal first aid, daily animal health care and domestic animal rehabilitation. The course was approved under the Quality Licence Scheme. This means we have undergone an external quality review to ensure that the company and the courses it provides meet specified quality standards.

By the end of the course, you will be well-equipped with the right knowledge and understanding of how to detect health problems in your pet and you can know the fundamentals of animal health care procedures if you work in animal care.

This course has been endorsed by the Quality Licence Scheme for its high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes. This course is not regulated by Ofqual and is not an accredited qualification. The course will be delivered directly to you, and from the date you joined the course you have 12 months of access to the online learning platform. The course is self-paced, and you can complete it in stages at any time.

In order to complete the course ‘Certificate in Animal Health Care at QLS Level 3’ successfully, learners will take an online multiple choice question assessment test. This online multiple choice question test is marked automatically, so you will receive an instant grade and know whether you have passed the course.

Those who successfully complete the course will be issued the Certificate in Animal Health Care at QLS Level 3 by the Quality Licence Scheme.

    Comprehensive training
