Dean Velez has been working in the broadcast graphics industry for over 10 years and training professional artists for over 7 years. He has received 2 Emmy Awards, 7 Emmy Award nominations, worked for 2 network stations, 21 local news stations, and teaches college level Motion Graphics courses.
The majority of his broadcast career was spent with Gannett Broadcasting. He was the Corporate Creative Director of Broadcast working with 21 television stations to create full broadcast packages for news, sports, programming and commercials.
