In this Excel 2010: Advanced series, new and longtime Excel users will learn how to take core skills to the next level by exploring advanced functions and chart features, connecting to external data, utilising data tools, leveraging auditing features, and gaining insight with what-if features. You’ll also learn how to create macros and work with basic VBA code to customise and automate your work. Does EVERY Excel user need to know these skills? No, but if you want to use Excel beyond simple data entry and calculations, to its fullest potential and therefore be able to reach your own full potential, this series will help get you there.

Microsoft Excel 2010: Advanced course will help you learn to use Excel like a pro. The course can be progressed to from the Beginner level to master advanced functions and features of the application. The course is designed for learners who want to learn advanced functions in Excel 2010 such as PivotTables. Qualifying in this course will give your CV a boost, as most employers look for candidates who are proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

From the day you purchase the course, you will have 12 months access to the online study platform. As the course is self-paced you can decide how fast or slow the training goes, and are able to complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time.

At the end of the course, you will have one assignment to be submitted (you need a mark of 65% to pass) and you can submit the assignment at any time. You will only need to pay £19 for assessment and certification when you submit the assignment. You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days if you have successfully passed the course. 

Successful candidates will be awarded a certificate in Excel 2010: Advanced.

Learners must be age 16 or over and should have a basic understanding of the English Language, numeracy, literacy, and ICT.
