Overview

SciPy refers to an open source Python library that is used for scientific and technical computing. SciPy uses NumPy for more mathematical functions and includes modules for common tasks such as linear algebra, integration, equation solving, signal processing and optimisation in science and engineering. SciPy uses NumPy arrays as its basic data structure and is a part of the NumPy stack. SciPy incorporates other routines essential to science such as routines for computing integrals numerically, optimisation and sparse matrices. The SciPy library is currently sold under the BSD license and it is maintained by an open community of developers.

SciPy is regarded as one of the main libraries used in Python. Mastering the features of SciPy would help improve your chances of kick starting a rewarding career in IT or the programming field. It would also help you build on your existing expertise in programming. This Python SciPy: The Open Source Python Library course will walk you through how to create and execute complex computational computing functions. The course starts with an explanation of what SciPy is and how to install it. From there, you will be trained on how to address simple and complex mathematical computations.  You will also be taught on topics such as double integrals, statistics, and linear algebra through this course.
