A typical workplace contains risks and hazards that might pose some serious threats to both the employers and the employees. Taking the necessary steps to ensure health and safety in the workplace is the responsibility of the HR department, supervisors and general managers, as it is of the CEOs and MDs. Therefore, this classroom course has been initiated to help these professionals take the necessary measures to boost the wellbeing of the employees and to generally make the workplace a safe place to be in.
The course will be conducted by a tutor who has mastered the art of health and safety in the workplace and who is more than willing to share the secrets to a safe and healthy workplace. The course will look into the most common types of risks and hazards in a workplace, after which you will get into terms with the workplace related health and safety practices.
As someone working in the UK, it is your duty to be familiarised with the key UK legislation that deals with health and safety at the workplace. As such, the tutor will thoroughly enlighten you on this aspect, in addition to a general lecture on how to develop and implement detailed action plans.
