Certificate in SFX Makeup Advanced Level 3 – This fantastic Special Effects Makeup course has been created by a makeup artist with years of experience working on well-known television programmes such as Hollyoaks, so you’ll be in good hands. You’ll develop the skills needed to pursue a career in the special effects makeup industry, and will practice creating amazing looks for film and TV. This is an advanced level course, so if you have no experience this will be the perfect introduction. Special effects makeup is often seen on television shows, movies, and conventions. You can also see it at festivals such as during Halloween. This type of makeup will help change the appearance of the person, from looking younger to older, or highlighting facial features. You will be taught the Certificate in SFX Makeup Advanced – Level 3 course by a professional makeup artist who will teach you the fundamentals of special makeup. Qualifying in this course gives you the opportunity to become a special effects makeup artist in your own right.

You will learn to create:

From the day you purchase the course, you will have 12 months access to the online study platform. As the course is self-paced you can decide how fast or slow the training goes, and are able to complete the course in stages, revisiting the training at any time.
At the end of each module, you will have one assignment to be submitted (you need a mark of 65% to pass) and you can submit the assignment at any time. You will only need to pay £19 for assessment and certification when you submit the assignment. You will receive the results within 72 hours of submittal, and will be sent a certificate in 7-14 days if you have successfully passed the course.
Successful candidates will be awarded a Certificate in SFX Makeup Advanced - Level 3. These are printed on high grade paper embossed with official Study365 or Quality Licence Scheme. It is delivered right to your place in a hard back envelope to keep it in pristine condition.
Option 1 -Quality Licence Scheme
At the Completion of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course) for only £49.
Option 2 -CPD Certificate
Successful learners will receive an Endorsed CPD Accredited Certificate for only £29.
Learners must be age 16 or over and should have a basic understanding of the English Language, numeracy, literacy, and ICT.
This course will provide you with all the necessary skills to become a Special Effects Makeup Artist. This career is extremely rewarding and means you’ll be working for film, television and theatre companies, and you will have the opportunity to work your way up to high level roles within this industry. On average the starting salary is £20,000, and this increases with experience.
