One of the responsibilities of a teacher or a teaching assistant is to establish good communication and professional relationships with the children and their parents alike. These two aspects have to be purely professional to avoid unnecessary scenarios and the teachers or teaching assistants have to undertake appropriate measures to promote them as required. The Communication and Professional Relationships – Level 3 Certificate in Teaching Assistant have been developed to help teaching assistants in just that and will take the learners through intense training sessions.

Designed for both beginners and professionals, this course will provide you insights into very crucial topics such as the importance of communication in developing positive relationships with children, young people and adults, the principles of relationship building, communication skills and adapting communication to meet different needs of children and adults.

This course has also dedicated a few modules that will show you how to manage disagreements between children, young people and adults, how different social, professional and cultural aspects can affect relationships and the way people communicate and how to reassure children and adults of the confidentiality of their information.

The Quality Licence Scheme, endorses high-quality, non-regulated provision and training programmes. The course will be directly delivered to you, and you have 12 months access to the online learning platform from the date you joined the course.  The course is self-paced and you can complete it in stages, revisiting the lectures at any time.

  • The course is suitable for learning support staff like teaching assistants and learning support assistants who want to contribute to developing a healthy rapport and positive relationship with children and young people.
  • Learners must be over the age of 19 and have a basic understanding of Maths, English and ICT.
  • A qualification at Level 2 or above in any discipline.

This online course is assignment-based with learners being assessed upon the submission of a series of assignments. Once you successfully submit the assignments, students will gain a professional qualification. The assignments must be submitted to the instructor through the online learning portal. The assignments will be reviewed and evaluated, with feedback provided to the student on how well they have fared.

Please Note: Additionally, a total of £69 is charged for the assessment and certificate, and you need to pay that when submitting your assessments only (It is not required to pay initially upon registering). This payment can be made in 02 installments.

Those who successfully complete the course will be issued the Communication and Professional Relationships at QLS Level 3 Certificate in Teaching Assistant by the Quality Licence Scheme.
