Node-RED is a powerful programming tool. It is written in JavaScript and can be deployed on a multitude of systems. By definition, Node-RED is a flow-based development tool for visual programming, developed originally by IBM for wiring together hardware devices, APIs, and online services as part of the Internet of Things (IoT). Node-RED provides a web browser-based flow editor, which can be used to create JavaScript functions.
This course will teach rapid application development using Node-RED. This is a beginner-level course but prior knowledge of basic programming principles and electronic concepts will be helpful. In just five hours, you will be confident enough to use Node-RED to prototype real-world applications. You will also gain an in-depth understanding of the Node-RED editor.
