Microsoft Office Word
Working with long text documents, paragraphs, tab stops, page setup, tables, columns, styles, illustrations, templates and proofreading documents.
Microsoft Office Excel
Creating cell data, formatting cells and worksheets, managing worksheets and workbooks, Formulas and Functions (basic and more complex, including absolute cell referencing), charts, conditional formatting, sorting and filtering data, data protection.
Microsoft Office Power-Point
Managing the Power-Point environment, using templates and themes, creating and formatting slides and sections, applying transitions and animations and timings, insert video and sounds, using pointer options, creating custom slide shows and a photo album, working with slide masters.
Microsoft Office Access
Understanding table creation and design. Finding, editing, sorting and filtering data to highlight key information. Building table relationships and enforcing referential integrity to keep data “clean”. A basic introduction to functions and using the formula creator. Using aggregate functions and totals to simplify calculations.
Microsoft Office Outlook
Working with email effectively; managing appointments, meetings, contacts, and to do lists; and finally linking and synchronisation.
Method of Assessment:
At the end of the course, learners will take an online multiple choice question assessment test. The online test is marked straight away, so you will know immediately if you have passed the course.
Successful candidates will receive a certificate for “Diploma in Microsoft Office 2016”.
Learners must be age 16 or over and should have a basic understanding of the English Language, numeracy, literacy, and ICT.
- Completing this training course will show any potential employer that you are comfortable and confident with using key Microsoft applications.
- This Qualification is helpful for any Office job, such as Admin Assistant, Administrator, or Office Manager.
We do not provide software with this course, you will need to have the MS Office Package on your computer or have access to a computer which has MS Office on it.
